Since 1948, Gentling Dental Care has been
earning the community's trust. Our longevity is due to the fact that
we treat each patient with the same care, quality and dedication
that our own family members would receive.
Gentling Dental was established by Dr. Phil Gentling who practiced from
1948-1986. In 1972, our office moved from the now Associated Bank Building
in downtown Rochester, Minnesota to its present location at 2210 North
Broadway in Rochester.

Dr. Kirk Gentling
Dr. Kirk Gentling, joined the practice in 1970 after graduating from
the University of Minnesota Dental School. He is a member of various
national, state and local dental organizations. Dr. Kirk has two
grown children. His special interests include fishing, golf, travel,
scuba diving, and trying to keep physically fit. Dr. Kirk is especially
interested and continually learning about nutritional supplements.
Dr. Colin Gentling
Dr. Colin Gentling (Dr. Phils other son) joined the practice in
1973 after graduating from the University of Minnesota Dental School.
He is a member of various national, state and local dental organizations
and he is an alumnus of the Dawson
Center for Advanced Education. He has also received a fellowship
in the American
Endodontic Society. Dr. Colin has two daughters in college.
His hobbies include swimming, cross-country skiing, travel, golf and
imaginative cooking. He and his wife, Lisa, live in the Chester
woods area near Rochester.
Dr. Ryan Henrichsen
Dr. Ryan Henrichsen graduated from Iowa State University in 1995,
and the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1999. He joined Gentling
Dental in 2000. He is a member of various national, state and local
dental organizations. Dr. Ryan is an alumnus of the Dawson
Center for Advanced Education, and he completed the core curriculum
at the Pankey
Institute. Dr. Ryan is also a Fellow in the Academy
of General Dentistry. Dr. Ryan and his wife, Tara, have a son, Noah,
and daughters Ella Kathryn and Anna. In his spare time, Dr. Ryan
enjoys bicycling, skydiving, reading and cooking.
Dr. Melissa McColloch
Dr. Melissa McColloch joined Gentling Dental in 2006. After attending
the University of Wisconsin Madison she graduated from Marquette
University School of Dentistry in 2002 and went on to complete a General
Practice Dental Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center
in Minneapolis in 2003. Dr. Melissa is originally from Albert Lea, MN.
Melissa and her husband have one child, Kara Dean.
