How often should I see the dentist?

We recommend that patients of all ages should attend at least 2 checkup and cleaning appointments every year. This allows us to keep a close eye on your dental health and catch any problems you might have as early as possible.

Can I bring my child to Gentling Dental Care?

Yes! We’ve served entire families since we first opened our doors in 1948! Whether you have a toddler, teenager, or someone in between at home, your child is always welcome through our doors. We have the age-appropriate services for growing smiles at every stage of development, and we make sure they always feel comfortable and relaxed in our office.

I’m really nervous about visiting the dentist. Can you help?

Certainly! Our warm and friendly atmosphere is usually all patients need to feel comfortable in our office, but for those who could use a little extra help, nitrous oxide sedation is always available. All a patient has to do is inhale the odorless gas to feel completely relaxed in just a matter of minutes. Let us know if you think it would help at you or your child’s next appointment!

I haven’t been to the dentist for a LONG time…can you still help me?

Yes! If you’re dealing with numerous decayed, broken, and missing teeth, we can easily get your oral health back on track with a full-mouth reconstruction. One of my teeth hurts…what should I do?

First, rinse and floss around the tooth to dislodge any stray food particles that might be stuck and causing the pain. If this doesn’t help, or if the pain is overwhelming, go ahead and give Gentling Dental Care a call. We’ll schedule an appointment to see you as soon as possible (even the same day if necessary) so we can get you out of pain and fix your tooth right away.
